Why You'll Reach for This

When I'm designing a new collection, I spend time studying the runway shows—not to copy them, but to notice the subtle details that signal something fresh.

This season, I kept seeing bezel-set rectangular drops. The shape felt clean, modern, and quietly architectural. Paired with smooth cabochon studs, they struck me as both current and timeless.

Those were the details I wanted to bring into this collection.

• I intentionally kept these drops just ½ inch long. They pair beautifully with a statement necklace when you want one focal point, but they're just as lovely on their own.
• Aquamarine against black immediately caught my eye. It's an unexpected combination that feels fresh without trying too hard.

• I couldn't resist pairing a rectangle beneath a round cabochon. That little change in shape gives the earrings a modern look that quietly draws attention.
• I chose opaque gemstones to echo many of the necklaces in this collection. Whether you wear them together or separately, they create a sense of harmony without feeling overly matched.
