 Every design begins long before I choose a single gemstone. It begins with years of noticing—the architecture I've admired, the places I've traveled, the remarkable people I've met, and the curiosity that has shaped the way I see the world. I'd love to share my perspective behind this design.

WHY YOU'LL REACH FOR IT
When I first discovered these unusual gemstones, they reminded me of coral—the opaque surface and natural markings had that same wonderfully organic quality. I later learned they're a form of Yellow Jasper, although their color is much closer to a beautiful soft taupe. That immediately made me think of all the spice-toned gemstones I've been noticing this season. Tiger Eye, Smoky Quartz, Carnelian, even Citrine—they all feel perfectly at home beside it. I can already picture this necklace against rich leather and suede when the weather turns cool, then completely transformed against crisp white all year long.

• Made for layering. It's beautiful among warm-toned gemstones, but I especially love the unexpected contrast of layering it with white pearls and Black Onyx. Suddenly that soft taupe takes on a completely different personality.I
