 Every design begins long before I choose a single gemstone. It begins with years of noticing—the architecture I've admired, the places I've traveled, the remarkable people I've met, and the curiosity that has shaped the way I see the world. I'd love to share my perspective behind this design.

This necklace began in a bead store in New York City in 2022.

My granddaughter, Lexie, immediately spotted these vivid green gemstones with their dramatic black markings. She held them up and said, "Look at these!"

I loved them too.

Sometimes a design begins with certainty, but not with urgency. I knew these stones belonged in a necklace one day—I just didn't know what that necklace would become.

Four years later, the right design finally revealed itself.
