Every design begins long before I choose a single gemstone. It begins with years of noticing—the architecture I've aoday'sdmired, the places I've traveled, the remarkable people I've met, and the curiosity that has shaped the way I see the world. I'd love to share my perspective behind this design.
WHY YOU'LL REACH FOR IT
I wanted this necklace to feel casual and sophisticated at the same time. That led me to pair the earthy warmth of wood with the luminous beauty of Afghan glass. Then I added a touch of our signature handwoven beadwork, and suddenly those contrasting elements began to feel right together. I love the unexpected harmony of it all—my own interpretation of what I call elegant simplicity.
- It's the contrast of materials that makes this necklace so interesting to me. The earthy warmth of wood against the luminous Afghan glass is an unexpected pairing that somehow feels completely natural.
- Our signature handwoven beadwork adds another layer of texture. I love how that small detail brings the wood and glass together while giving the necklace a personality all its own.
- There's something wonderfully relaxed about all these contrasting textures. I can picture this necklace against a crisp white cotton shirt, soft cashmere, or even a simple black dress. Each brings out a different side of its personality.
- At 17 inches, it sits beautifully along the collarbone. I especially love the idea of layering it with a longer necklace, allowing the different materials and proportions to play against one another. The 2 inch extender makes the length adjustable

Shipping within the U.S. is free for all orders of $200 or more. There is a flat fee of $10.00 to ship any purchase that totals less than $200. Tracking information is emailed to purchaser at time of shipment.
Outside the U.S., there is a flat shipping fee of $40.00. All customs and duties fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
